In the February Shanghai update, Ethereum developers will focus solely on ETH zapped output.
Improvements to the programming environment will not be addressed in the update.
Ethereum developers held a conference call prior to the testnet scheduled for Shanghai in February. The developers agreed on the points to be covered in this update.
As a result of the meeting, the team agreed to focus on user zapping ETH coin withdrawals. If the update goes well, users will be able to withdraw ETH deposited online in March.
During the conversation, the developers agreed not to consider improvements to the programming environment. Therefore, the addition of the Ethereum Virtual Machine Object Format, known as EOF, will be discussed later. Otherwise, the Shanghai update may be delayed.
Previously, CryptoQuant analysts cited the release of ETH as one of the factors contributing to the decline in the virtual currency’s exchange rate. Unable to download all results.
