Ethereum Launches Test Net for Shanghai-Capella Update
The Ethereum team announced the launch of a public testnet to test the Shanghai-Capella update on
February 7.
There were some configuration issues with the network launch, but devops and customer teams are investigating. the Shapella fork is scheduled for Tuesday at 15:00 UTC 👀

The main function of the update is to discover access to the Ethereum stacking drawer selling EIP-4895.
According to a text from Tim Beiko, one of the main authors, the actual team has cleared the last technical hurdle to make the update; after the upgrade was launched on the Sepolia testnet in March, the new features will be tested on Goerli.
This is the final test before deploying the code to the main network.
As a reminder, in November 2022, the creator launched devnet to test the functionality of cryptocurrency withdrawals by verifiers of ethereum deposit agreements.
